Student Services Fees are semesterly fees paid by all students at the University of Minnesota. Registered Student Organizations and Administrative Units can request funding from this pool of money for the following academic year. Groups must present their request each February to the Student Services Fees Committee, providing reasoning and rationale for their request.

Two committees will be established:

  1. The Student Organizations Committee

    This committee is comprised of 9 students and 2 administrative representatives, as well as up to 4 alternates, to review the fees applications of all registered student organizations applying for student services fees.

  2. The Administrative Units Committee

    This committee is comprised of 6 students and 2 administrative representatives, as well as up to 4 alternates, to review the fees applications of 8 University administrative departments applying for student services fees (Boynton Health Service, Learning Abroad Center, Radio K, Recreational Sports, Student Conflict Resolution Center, Summer Cultural Programs, Student Unions and Activities, and University Student Legal Services) and the Minnesota Daily.
